CHICAGO (AP) — At least 12 people in a crowd on a Chicago street suffered gunshot wounds after an SUV pulled up and two people inside started shooting, police said.

The SUV drove away from the South Side neighborhood, leaving two people, both male, in critical condition following the shooting late Friday, police said in a news release. One suffered a gunshot wound to the thigh.

The eight men and four women in the group ranged in age from 17 to 47. They were being treated at four hospitals.

Police said another man suffered unknown injuries and refused medical treatment.

7. Looking over past posts about shootings in Garfield Park Chicago, they don't mention race

I must have assumed they said black because Garfield Park Chicago is a black neighborhood. I was following one story to see if they found the suspects, and checked for a few weeks and nada and I concluded there are a lot of drive by shootings where the perps are never identified or caught even with big rewards from Crime Stoppers

I see these alerts on Nextdoor Berwyn often

Police are continuing to search for two suspects who opened fire on four people, killing three of them, in Garfield Park
Plus the names are always name for black people
