ATLANTA — Former Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene says she is “DONE” with the Republican party.

“There is A LOT of us that are absolutely fed up and will not support a party that betrays its voters and country,” Greene said in a post on X.

Here’s the deal, I witnessed my own state do what may be happening on a national level. Iirc it started with Phil Gramm who was kicked out of the democratic party in 1983. He became a republican and began the repuke dynastyin my state for 43 years.

I don’t care if MTG or Tucker become members of our party, what I do hope is that this is the crumbling of the repukes up to know unshakable foundation that they have build the terror that is Trumpstein.

If it’s anything like the UK you could have a far right party (reform in their case) breaking away from the mainstream Conservative Tory Party, possibly even overtaking it.

That’s not as likely to happen here, given fundamental structural differences in terms of party politics, but any infighting should be encouraged by democrats.

It’s still important democrats counter any populist messaging by such RW parties if they do emerge. Democrats already got bit in the ass twice by too many working class folks falling for Trump’s BS and I think Carlson and MTG are more politically skilled than we would initially give them credit for.
