Dworkin Report - No, Corporate Media. Jan 6 Rioters Are Not Hostages. They're Traitors. Stop Kissing Trump's Ring.
Yesterday was a brutal day for America, with the constant reminders of the January 6th attack on the Capitol.
There was actually a lot of good coverage from the Press. Most made it clear that Trump was to blame for the violent insurrection, and called out his criminal cult rioters for what they really are.
Others in corporate media took a different angle, and decided to kiss Donalds ring instead.
I analyzed dozens of the stories about January 6th that ran yesterday. Of those, at least 13 were just plain wrong. Defending the indefensible, so many news orgs put up terrible articles that were apologetic sympathy ads for the rioters.

(117,339 posts)If someone is I'm sure Donny boy or one of his wealthy cronies could afford to bail them out.

(491 posts)then due process is being violated and so is the Constitution. I don't care what someone's politics are, due process cannot be violated.

(117,339 posts)What I'm referring to per Jan 6 (theoretically) is the ability to make bail. One still gets a trial.

(491 posts)But there are numerous folks and sites reporting that some people who were arrested on or shortly after Jan 6 have not been formally charged but are still in custody (jail). If this is true, that is a huge violation of rights. Of due process.
I am trying to find the truth.
