Remember Trump’s first Inauguration? I sure don’t. I had no intention of watching that shitshow, and I’m not watching his second one, either. (Fact: if a movie sucks, the sequel will suck even harder.)

Joseph McCarthy’s Downfall (1954)
On June 9, 1954, Joseph Welch, the chief counsel for the U.S. Army during the Army-McCarthy hearings, vivisected the red-baiting Sen. Joseph McCarthy (flanked by his shifty-eyed henchman, Trump’s mentor Roy Cohn). This was the beginning of the end of McCarthyism, and a reminder that evil movements that appear unstoppable aren’t.
Spiro Agnew’s Resignation (1973)
Vice President Spiro Agnew was a world-class kleptocrat, until he was caught accepting bribes in the form of actual envelopes of cash—in the White House basement. He steadfastly refused to apologize for his crimes, but that didn’t make his resignation any less delicious.
