...and the cat will crawl right in.
Not surprising that this cat stayed on the paper after being unwrapped. Our cats invariably will sit on any piece of paper that is on a counter top or table. Not sure why, as a single thickness of paper obviously offers no warmth or padding, but they do it every time. Several pages, a catalog, or a magazine is even better, and the ultimate prize is a folded up towel, blanket, or pile of laundry.
That's a very laid back kitty.
