Theyre in there. And no, never give up on what you love, and i love writing, and i love the Mixed Animal. The book was almost published 3 times before, starting with MaCadam/Cage that went under in 2010. So, no, yeah, never give up, and i can say that because i didn't. Thanks KT.

Did you work up some artwork with a doofus Great Dane on the cover, or was it just the mushrooms kicking in?

13. Ha, yeah, the Great Dane cover was dismal.

Thank goodness that publisher went under before they could publish it, (MacAdam/Cage). I love this joyous cover. Goes with the book.

Many moons later, I went back and looked for it. Boy howdy, that cover was scrubbed from the internet.

16. ugh, found it on Amazon India

i had ziilch to do with the cover, except to say i thought the pawprint looked like shit the Dane was sniffing... I never had a signed contract with them. By the time that cover was "designed," they were on their way to bankruptcy, then the owner of the house died and it was chaos for both creditors and authors. They had a few hits (Time Traveler's Wife) , but lived way above their means. RIP.
