The buck stopped here

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by Emile (a host of the The DU Lounge forum).

A boycott on spending is underway.

I just got my credit card bill for the month and it was just over $200.00.

Often, it is close to or even over $1,000.00 a month.

Hit 'em where it hurts the most, in the pocket book.

My wallet remains closed.

How about yours?

Fight fight fight with your wallet!

YES.

I've done it in the past and I can do it again.

I'm in no position to be having credit card bills at or over $1,000.00 a month anyway.

Its nice having extra money in the bank, with or without the crummy $23.00 a month I get from CalFresh! Such an insult the $23.00 is anyway. It sure isn't keeping me from starving, I know what much!

I also quit going to Bingo. What a boring waste of time/energy/money!

Only essential bills are going on the credit card as it gives ME 2% cashback on all purchases, phone and power bills included.

I'm glad you are doing the same.

There is great power in numbers!

Thank you!

I am only ordering from eBay from sellers in blue states. I have not ordered from Amazon either since the 🍊💩🤡 was installed by muskrat.

for more options for food. I have chickens, and I'm trying to protect them from wild birds (bird flu) while still letting them free range during the day.
