Was at the pharmacy and there was a lady ahead of me who was waiting

for the pharmacist to speak to her. I didn't need the pharmacist so I went ahead and got served by the pharmacy technician. The lady was hopping mad. The pharmacy technician told her the pharmacist was helping the client right beside her and would talk to her when he was done. She was literally 5 feet away from them. She kept blowing up. The technician interrupted the pharmacist to point out to him his next client was the lady. I thought it was very well handled. When I left the lady had interrupted the pharmacist herself to ask when she would be served. I wanted to stop her but was on meds that keep me calm. And I don't see how someone that ignorant would do with being scolded. Some people.

The pharmacy staff was handling it quite well.

And the customer you describe sounds unhinged.
Who knows what she might do if provoked by another customer?

Like every other person in health care, pharmacy staff- nearly every other person serving the public- are the target of ALL the frustration out there. It seems never-ending. Clearly our society feels the former rules of basic civility no longer apply. (I wonder why... )

Just kidding. You definitely did the right thing. Who knows? Someone like that could be armed.
