Do things just disappear in your home,?

I bought a bag of cheezits and put it on the counter yester day. I've looked every where. They are nowhere to be found. I even looked in the garbage.

A precious irreplaceable 50 yr old photo was left on the table. Its gone. I've looked every where. Tore the house apart. Never seen again. My fault for not putting it away.

That still bothers me. I'm so pissed when this happens it makes me feel crazy. My left eye is twitching today. The latest symptom to manifest from the dentist injuring me.

If you don't have a cat I have no explanation for you. But the chances are pretty good that the missing objects will reappear when you are looking for something else.

I used to accuse my mom of lugging around a personal black hole. Then it started happening to me.

Yes!

I'm so used to it now (depending on the item) it doesn't even faze me. Having said that, if something's important (like my car keys) I ALWAYS call on St. Anthony!

I'm not religious but am Spiritual so I call on the Saints whenever the need arises. St. Anthony is the Saint to help with finding lost things...

only when I put them in that "safe place" so I won't lose them. Then I can't remember where the "safe place" is. Turns out that it's a black hole, wherever it is!

And it changes its location. At the time when you put it there, it makes perfect sense. Then it is never seen again.

Sometimes those things/objects will reappear spontaneously in a short time period, minutes, days weeks. Or they may remain there for a longer period, and then one day you open a drawer, closet, walk out into the garage, look under your car seat and lo & behold they have returned! Then there are the missing objects that delight living in the 4th dimension, and may never return.

The only other explanation are invisible gremlins who, like cats, like to collect stuff.

The fourth dimension (4D) is currently defined as a hypothetical construct since we live in the third dimension and must predict what the extra-spatial fourth dimension actually consists of. But generally, the 4D space is seen as an extension of the 3D space, providing further ways that objects can move.

I’ve emptied every cabinet it could possibly be in. Finally went out and bought a replacement. I thought it would turn up then but it’s still missing.
