It isn't warm outside, but not too bad. After I filled the feeders, I walked around the yard and picked up sticks. I came in when I noticed a bird in one of the bushes tapping its foot on the twig and giving me the eye

(48,772 posts)1. I put out peanut butter for the birds during the deep freeze. A whole jar.
It's 10 days and the peanut butter is sitting there like frozen moose dung, the birds haven't touched it. So much for online recommendations for bird diet.
