(24,231 posts)I watched Jimmy Kimmel this week and they had an episode where Guillermo who is his sidekick got a birthday present from Jimmy. A visit to a snake massage parlor! They actually put snakes on him and it was so hysterical. The snakes were not venomous but were big and he was freaking out and I got a stomach ache from laughing so much that and I watched it again!
My Grandfather used to say that laughing is good for your health and you show find something to laugh about everyday. Nowadays with the 🍊💩🤡 laughter is hard. But my Grandfather lived to 90 and always was smiling and laughing!

(20,097 posts)The one story I mostly remember was one guy would have trouble with his ?brakes but only at certain times.
It turned out something to do with the altitude he was at - going up, and down in a desert mountain area? Something about hiw air pressure would effect the ?braking fluid.
Fascinating!
(also brings back memories of me traveling in the AZ high desert w a friend decades ago in a rented car)

(202 posts)if its rehearsal, gig, or jam session, it puts me in a happy mood. Time with my grandkids keeps my mood soaring. For laughs, Graham Norton Show is generally good for a laugh and I like finding past Monty Python or Tracy Ullman shows and the old Sat Night Live shows. If I need a good laugh I like zany movies such as Whats Up Doc. Making me smile just reading all these posts from everyone! 😃

(7,277 posts)This is mainly from personal issues, not just the current societal ones.
I am always in pain or discomfort and I can hope for nothing as no one is interested in helping some old idiot who thinks people are the most valuable asset in any given situation and that morality, ethics, and community are more important than greed. I am an anachronism.
In short, my time is done. Not much to be happy about with that hanging over my head.
