MusiCares Person of the Year
The Grateful Dead are MusiCares’ 2025 Persons of the Year! MusiCares honored original band members Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, and Bobby Weir, and the night included special posthumous tributes to Jerry Garcia and Phil Lesh as well. On January 31st, 2025, MusiCares’ annual GRAMMY Week gala celebrated their creative and philanthropic work.
All Person of the Year proceeds support MusiCares’ vital programs and relief efforts including assistance for music professionals impacted by the recent Greater Los Angeles wildfires.
