The DU Lounge

I’ve had fairly severe issues with herniated disks/degenerative disc disease/osteoporosis, etc last few years. Makes me monitor how much bending over I’m doing, squatting instead, etc.
Well, I’ve been walking religiously over past 2 yrs and dieting (ugh), and have lost 20-25 pounds, getting that weight off my lumbar that can add up even sitting.
Well, ok, on to the dilemma. I’ve been using trimmers for my beard for last 4-5 years and actually wet shaved for first time in that same 4-5. And holy shit: I’ve got saggy, baggy jowls now. To me they seemed to come out of nowhere since they’d been hidden all that while
So now I face a choice: do I want to look like Santa had a spa day the rest of my life or looking like I’m trying out for the role of “Ghost of Henry Kissinger?” That’s what it’s come down to.
Joy.
