15. SCE makes it possible for me to eat puns for breakfast every Sunday, and puns are my favorite food.

(Many people think you're supposed to groan when somebody makes a pun, but I think they're the most accessible form or wit, and I relish every one.)

And then there are the pictures of animals, which remind us that we are just less hairy animals than bison and chipmunks. And they remind us of the great richness of the planet we live on, where elephants love great music, and some of us compose it. SCE reminds us to spend time realizing we live an a wonderful place.

22. Awesome idea, John! When I think of Sundays, I think of SCE. And kitties, puppies, butterflies and giraffes.

I think of love and sharing, hugs and kisses, gentle warm smiles. I think of gratitude and appreciation for the kindest two-legged animals and tiny babies. I’ve learned to think more about the best our planet has to offer.

And now on Sundays I’ll also think of how your wonderfully creative brainiac mind came up with a whopper of a way to keep our thoughts and our thanks on SalmonChantedEvening and our hearts on the clean side of nature.

The last few years of my mom's life, we'd sit together after lunch and enjoy many posts on DU, but the number one feature was your Sunday Lolcats. It was one of the few things we could enjoy together.

It's been about 18 months, now. I miss her so, regardless of our difficulties and the hurts. But your Sunday Lolcats helps me remember good times and shared love.

I hope my poor words will point to what an important part of my life you are; even though I only know you from here. When your sweet Crystal passed, my heart broke for you. Since mom died, two of my dear dogs have also passed (and my horse, a goat...ugh). You help me cope. Thank you for that. Thank you.
