Howard McNear (Floyd Lawson) on Andy Griffith

Edgar Buchanon (Uncle Joe Carson) on Petticoat Junction. Just found out a little while ago that he was a practicing dentist.

Pat Buttram (Mr. Haney) on Green Acres

You only had 3 to 4 channels back then, so everyone watched the same shows

Of course, I liked Mary (who didn't? She turned the world on with her smile), but I liked Rhoda just a little bit more. Then she got her own show and it wasn't as funny but everybody watched it because they liked Rhoda.

The main character Sarah Manning's gay foster brother, played by Canadian Jordan Gavaris.

He's FABULOUS in the show.

It's (finally!) on Netflix. I made a post about it (in retrospect, it's pretty long-winded lol) in the Streaming forum. https://www.democraticunderground.com/114322811

I recommend avoiding even reading Netflix's blurb about the show and just hitting play. The more that's a mystery about it going in, the cooler it is.

On both I Love Lucy and The Lucy Show. Her acting was so extremely natural and believable. I realize that Lucy was a comedic genius but Vivian Vance was outstanding. I lost interest later when they gave her other co stars and sidekicks. Viv was the best.
