Is it just me or does it seem

like forever since I could wake up feeling like something new coming out of this administration!
Or go to bed without dreadful thoughts?
Sometimes I feel like this is what we will be dealing with for a long time to come.

I'm trying but it sure was not my idea of retirement.

And yes it keeps getting worse. It feels like a tight spot in my stomach.

And the thing is, I often wonder are we too far gone to ever overcome this evil cancer in our society? There are still way too many people who actually like what he’s doing.

Democrats are outraged over what Trump has done today. They are speculating about Trump using the Insurrection Act and
stealing the election. The answer is yes on both; I can figure that out myself I don't need some talking head making $30 million
a year to tell me that.

was the beginning of the end for us. The media kept him on the front page during Biden’s entire Presidency. I did not expect the winter of my life to be riddled with anxiety and fear of our government.

I feel the joy is gone, and I struggle just to keep it together. What for many of us should be "the golden years" is filled with dread, apprehension and fear of what may come next.

I feel like I'm in "fight" mode all of the time, and I'm beyond pissed off. It's very stressful.

What you are feeling is normal.

As a side note, I wanted to let you know that I enjoy your artwork immensely.

Keep doing that...it will help you cope!

and turn into a shooting war between his followers and "the enemy." His stated goal is to invoke the Insurrection Act, declare martial law and put an end to democracy in America. It's the only way he survives beyond November, 2026.

Absolute dread, sadness, and disgust. Always hoping that this is just a nightmare and not reality - unfortunately that's not the case.
