What's your favorite.....Friday night or Saturday Night???

1. Now that I'm retired, there's not much difference between week days and weekend days.

To quote the late, great Maggie Smith's Dowager Countess character in Downton Abbey - "What is a weekend?"

2. Friday.

One has the whole weekend to look forward to. Saturday night is just: last night of freedom before having to face the next work week.

3. I always worked weekends

I preferred my days off mid-week.

4. I definitely found it to be far more useful in a practical sense.

But... I was usually off by myself, because everyone else was working.

Then, everyone would have grand plans for the weekend, and I would not be able to participate, because I was being a wage slave.

So, there is a trade-off, I guess. Unless you can find others who are willing to set up their schedules with yours.

7. I have always been very comfortable on my own

I prefer not to do so.

I spend enough time doing that already. Not by choice.

Unfortunately, no one else seems willing to help me with this, so I am alone, whether I like it or not.

That kind of goes with the territory.

But, I do not expect that. I just want some friends. Ones that exist in the same area of the city as I do. Ones that I can visit and that would visit me. Ones that can share these last days (however many there are left) so that I am not insane when I pass.
