Well, our house goes on the market on Thursday

I love Tacoma, but we are getting older and want to live closer to our daughter and son in law.

Fingers crossed for an easy sell and a smooth transition to Southern California.

Welcome in advance from LA!

Just filled out my ballot using help from this website (for future reference).

But who knows. You may land elsewhere when you get here.

My daughter has even bugging me to move in with her. I beginning to think keeping g up the house is getting to be more work than it's worth. Sure would be better financially.

Three years ago, I put up our family house for sale. Great realtor.

No interest for a month and I was sighing loudly.

Out of the blue, buyers showed up. Wanted a cash sale. A closing in less than two months.

We made it happen.

No trauma, no drama.

Best of luck to you.

Get a statue of St. Peter and bury it in your yard. (Burying a dollar bill with it is optional).

And the second part of it is to dig him up after the sale and take him to the new home where he will reside in a place of honor.

Interest rates just ticked up another quarter point. While that may make your home less affordable to some buyers, some folks will get antsy and cross over to the FOMO zone. Families are moving now that kids are out of school.

If you believe in the 18 year real estate cycle, we could be due for a crash. This could be to your benefit if you can wait a bit to buy in SoCal. Put your stuff in storage and travel a bit while you can.
