The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsGood morning my DU family,
Well, poor Cuddles made it through the night, without eating or drinking anything and without being able to use the litter box even though he tried a couple of times. He also threw up several times yesterday, so we have been giving him droppers of Pedialyte every few hours as well.
I'm really worried and feel guilty for not pushing the vet harder when they poo pooed my initial observations about his trouble peeing everywhere recently.
I'll be taking him to the vet to arrive as they open as they usually have an emergency appointment or two available every day.
I try not to be scared, hoping it's something simple, as he is not even four years old yet, but I know not eating or drinking anything for more than 24 hours is usually bad.
It makes me so happy to know that I spend the intimate, quality time with him and Shadow and Petunia every day so that I will notice when they're even slightly off.
I have to be so grateful that these things didn't happen these last three years, as I wouldn't have been in the position to do anything, so that makes me feel blessed.
Please give us a day filled with opportunities to be observant and to trust what we observe. If something looks off or out of normal, please let your better angels guide your actions.
Have a wonderful, observant day DU, and please keep a good thought out for Walleye and his Tiger too.
Thank you, Love, John
Emile
