The feel of it suits hus style perfectly.
One thing I noticed in this video was that he has a left-handed bridge in that Strat so the vibrato arm is at the top, like Jimi flipping a right handed version over. I don't know if that's true of all his guitars, but definitely this one.
I also noticed he played a lot of this song with tye neck & middle pickup. It sounds so much of what I expect from him, I'm guessing he did that a lot.
This is a really good version.
My wife & I saw him at Alpine Valley the night he got killed in the crash.

Good cover. Liked Hendrix's voice better and guitar is equal I guess. Vaughan's sounds more smooth, Jimi,'s was raw.
