Whole band was dead on.
He hit the famous note on this one. Held it a long time too.
His hesitancy about "showing off like that" created a lot of friction with Henley & Frey in later years.
They got lucky getting Tim Schmidt to replace him when they fired him. Not many other bassists could sing like those 2 guys.
