2. Back in the early's 2000's, I was playing in a cover band

And we used to do a cover of “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”, which the verses have the same descending pattern as the horn intro and verses to 25 or 6 to 4, only much slower.

We’d play WMGGW, and during the long, extended jam at the end, instead of winding down to a slow conclusion, one of us would suddenly count in “1,2,3,4!” at double the tempo and play the intro to the Chicago song (minus horns).

The looks of knowing bemusement or baffled confusion from the audience were usually split evenly, 50/50…

Ah, good times.

... and plugged in another electric keyboard on top of it, our sax player did a quick solo with the echoplex while the rest of the band kept up rhythm behind him. I took only about 2 minutes and the audience though it was part of our floor show. Great night.
