I put this information on upgraded guitar parts for those of us who self inflict these projects on ourselves. And then into project we’re thinking WTF was i thinking in doing this.
It’s a 10 way blade switch for tele or strats the brand is named freeway ,now I’m old was awake 02:30 so now rambling on DU over coffee sitting at kitchen bar earlier using 19 girlfriends laptop looking at switches.

Ive decided to add this switch to this tele mod and for price of guitar used it was total score alder body rosewood fretboard maple neck. So I’m going down or went down rabbit hole as in now digging on these switches I think i found what i wanted to know.

With this freeway blade switch so the built in circuitry gives you ten choices first five positions are traditional tele or strat settings
Then last five you can choose options of parallel or in series.

Yet I’m joking about reading glasses at 58 I’m thankful i have done Nashville tele mods twice before yet my eyes were much younger.
And i joke using the template tele mod for adding middle pickup to taping and using a razor to cut tape to protect the finish, and then using top router i realized my eyes not young anymore

1. Cool Idea

Probably more than I'd ever use.
However, I think it would be cool to hear a Strat with both the bridge & neck pickup active. Maybe with all 3 on, too.
I had an Ibanez CN-250 that allowed the humbuckers to be series or parallel. I don't know that I actually used it. Maybe, maybe not.
