Lilacs are one of the things are really miss now that I'm living in Florida. There are some wonderful flower plants here, but nothing like a lilac. And, of course, when you add the fragrance, mmmmm. Such a lush, beautiful bush. Thanks. I can almost smell those blossoms.

I've always wanted one for my current home. But alas, I'm woefully bad at raising anything living except cats, I'm afraid. This is a beautiful bush! I love the look and the scent of lilacs. And I love when the bushes grow large enough (and tall enough) that I can climb into that "secret chamber" in the middle of them. Used to spend hours in their when I was a kid...

We were fortunate this bush was here when we moved in. And anyhow it's good that you raise cats! Ours is named KC, for KittyCat. Here he is relaxing with Mommy.

whom I named KC (for being found in Kansas City... I know, how original!) This baby above is a darling. I call them tabby tuxedos. I've got two brothers - one with an all white leg/paw and the other one regular tabby markers. They're about 3 years old now, and are mostly definitely momma's boys. One is my nursemaid when my fibro has be laid up in bed. The frequency of their purr is so soothing!
