At Lake Tahoe, California, from Lighthouse Rubicon Trail

This was taken in July of 2008 from the area of the lighthouse. Way in the back one can see one of the paddle boats on the way to Emerald Bay. Later in the hike, I had encountered a bear cub, but I wisely turned back.

A lovely photo, if a bit tilted. CaliforniaPeggy Jul 3 #1
It looks tilted, but I was holding the camera straight. valleyrogue Jul 3 #2
That might well explain it. It's still a very beautiful photo! CaliforniaPeggy Jul 3 #4

It was a point-and-shoot Canon, so that might account for that slight tilt.

It's the curvature of the earth! LOL

Seriously though, I like the tilt; it gives the water movement and draws the eye to the shore. Well, at least to me it does. Beautifully Stunning Photo!

It's a special place for me and my family. Lots of memories there especially Baldwin beach. We'll be there in a couple of weeks.
