Stopped by the other day long enough for me to get a couple of shots through the window with my phone. I recently started filling my bird feeders again and I think that's the attraction.
Couldn't help but think of elleng when I saw it.

It was on my fence in the walkway and I took a pic of it outside my window

The smaller birds are quite canny about the hawks in the area. We have some big red tailed hawks, too.
I also have seen this particular Cooper's perched on a trellis in the front of my yard. I think it's been eyeballing a rabbit that's been eating a holly.
