9. South east Michigan,

Right where the Detroit River flows into Lake Erie.

13. According to Wikipedia, the Detroit River "is one of the world's busiest waterways."

And "... is designated both an American Heritage River and a Canadian Heritage River—the only river to have this dual designation."

Sounds like a beautiful, yet possibly crowded area. Do you like living there?

15. it is an interesting area. Lots of pleasure boats in the summer. I can see Canada from the end of my street.

I'm not directly on the water, I'm about a mile or so away. The recent wind storm pushed lake Erie water a half mile away from shore. That was interesting. People walking out found an old car and a snowmobile that had fallen through the ice.
There are a lot of parks along the river. Some islands.
