1600mm early examples, planespotting

I have taken photos at 2000mm with a 1970's era lens which was no where near as sharp as today's optics, and it is obvious these extreme distance photos are susceptible to atmospheric distortion, especially in Florida's high humidity climate. Still, I'm having a blast!
