Kind of has a Lebowski vibe.

(7,964 posts)Didn't know Kurt and Goldie had an acting son but he is more than just a Hollywood legacy, he is really good in this. It isn't always really funny, although there are a few belly laughs now and then (like when the pizza guy saw them all in robes holding candles and ran away screaming), but it has some easy-going humor and it's clear the writers love the characters. It also surprises on a regular basis.
Sonya Cassidy plays his sister and I think both she and Wyatt are great at showing some deep pain beneath the humor, something not easy to do. Oh, and the meandering storyline is fun to follow too. Maybe it's going somewhere, maybe not but it's not as important as just enjoying the ride.

(7,964 posts)Yep, he looks like a cross between them, which isn't surprising of course. And he's named after Wyatt Earp, for an obvious reason.

(4,533 posts)I find the weird topics hilarious and fascinating. Like low rent parts of Long Beach. So tacky theyre wonderful. Low Rent fraternal groups, so tacky theyre funny and oddly wonderful. Whoever created this show must overlap my dna. Or my life experiences.

(3,268 posts)His Grandfather had a long running role on Bonanza and also owned an independent Triple A team and coached baseball basics. For a really enjoyable movie watch "The Battered Bastards of Baseball"-for sports fans this was the place where Jim Bouton started his comeback at $200 a game.
