As with the Life on Mars adaptation I'm a big fan of both the US and UK versions of Ghosts.

I actually find the US version more ... refined, somehow. The UK version seems to have a bit more gore (esp with Sir Humphrey), and often has steeper contrast between sentimental and slapstick, and some of the ghosts seem more cartoonish.
