(107,537 posts)ago... But,, we have Cameron Pass fire 50 miles to the west, and the enormous western slope fires, Pine Gulch and Grizzley Creek all blowing right towards us.
I may have to pull out the HEPA filtration unit that got me through the horrendous 2012 summer of wildfires blowing directly into Denver
I sure hate to see it. I hope your AZ fires are and remain quite distant from you.

(33,588 posts)A wildfire is burning southwest through the Tortolita Mountains parallel to Cochie Canyon Trail Road near the Dove Mountain area. The 2,200-acre Westridge Fire ignited on Monday, Aug. 17 and has since spread along the mountainous ridges through the desert brush.
