Damn! Active shooter at the DMV in Wilmington. One state trooper is dead and so is the shooter.

I use that DMV a lot and the service is very good.

It has taken over a year and a half to not think that there is a chance I won’t make it home. And please don’t hurt my dog.
I like it. I hate that that constant feeling took so long to exhale, but old man on a walker with his dog before the sun comes up, and it never occurs to me anymore.
Thank you Panama. And your sensible gun laws. And absolutely nobody whines about needing more guns.

So sad....the officer (State Trooper Matthew Snook) had a wife and 1-year-old. I saw the procession of fire trucks & police cars on the Kirkwood Highway this afternoon 😞. They usually have an officers stationed there... Apparently the shooter just saw officer Snook there and walked up and shot him. Fortunately a county police officer was there and took him out.
