A tourist left a bad impression in a Key West bar by ordering drinks three times on New Years Eve without leaving a tip.
The memory stuck with the bartender, who helped police identify the Christmas tree arsonists who damaged the citys iconic buoy at the Southernmost Point in the United States.
The Miami Herald reports that bartender Cameron Briody recognized the man who stiffed him in a webcam video of the arson.

(23,292 posts)They made an indelible impression at the bar by stiffing the bartender. He remembered them when he saw the video of them torching the Christmas tree next to the marker. He remembered that they paid for their drinks with a credit card and he had the receipts.
If you're going to commit a crime, it's not a good idea to leave a trail behind you.
