FL-HD87: Battle for District 87 narrows as Maples (R) and Gregory (D) advance to general election

JUNO BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — The battle for Palm Beach County's House District 87 narrows in the primaries as Republican Jon Maples and Democrat Emily Gregory advance to the general election.

Jon Maples won 84% of the Republican vote, defeating opponent Gretchen L. Miller Feng. Emily Gregory won 88% of the vote, defeating Laura Ann Levites, who received just 11%.

Maples and Gregory will face off in the special general election on March 24.

The race has drawn national attention after President Donald Trump endorsed Republican candidate Maples, issuing a public endorsement on Truth Social last week.
