A look at the unofficial results of Primary Election Day in Baltimore County

The June 23 primary election in Maryland saw a modest turnout at the polls.

Candidates for the Baltimore County Council are vying for newly redistricted seats. The new District 8 has four candidates, including three Democrats and one Republican.

For the three Democrats, the leader on Tuesday night was Sharonda Dillard-Huffman with 49.21% of the 3,225 votes cast with all 26 voting precincts reporting, followed by Crystal Cody with 33.12% of the votes.

Jack Carmody garnered 17.67% of the votes.
