Man curses Arab candidate after allegedly tossing brick at office

A man threw a brick at a Michigan campaign office Thursday and then proceeded to say he did it because the candidate is a "f****** Arab."

Democrat Abbas Alawieh, who's running for a Dearborn-based seat in the Michigan state Senate, detailed the incident in a press release. Alawieh confronted the individual who allegedly targeted his Dearborn Heights office and recorded the conversation he had with the man.

"What's the issue?" Alawieh asked the man at one point.

"You're a f****** Arab," the man who wasn't identified in the press release or video said. "F*** you."

coming from them from starting from the top. GQP want to disenfranchise opponents with the blessing of the 6 asshole UC SC justices. Now the Republican party know they have carte Blanche.

2. The Detroit News should know better: Abbas Alawieh is not an "Arab candidate."

Democrat Abbas Alawieh is an "Arab American" candidate. He was born and raised in the city of Dearborn, where he attended public schools, then earned two degrees from the University of Michigan.

Looks like The Detroit News is trying to create the false impression Alawieh just got off the plane from the Middle East and decided to run for office.
