Ettinger won the DFL. Hope he has a good campaign to return the district to the DFL.

Roughly 38k GQP votes to 18k DFL. Guess the 600 pot interlopers won't matter this time.

3. DFLers are notorious for not turning out for special elections

and they didn't have quite the contest the Republicans did.

What worries me more is the August 9th election for this seat. It is being held the same day as the statewide primary but with the DFL not having any real contests in the big races (Governor, SoS, etc) I have to wonder how good DFLers will be about showing up. At least we'll have another shot at the seat this November in the general election.
