14th warmest February in 132 years in Minnesota, 12th warmest in Twin Cities - so Minnesota just missed the top 10%
this year, while the Twin Cities made it into the top 10% warmest Februaries this year.
Despite predictions, February ends up warmer than usual, MPR, 2/27/28

Prediction models from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration suggested February would be colder than usual turns out thats not the case. ((probably becuz NOAA's budget and personnel were severely cut. It sure seems like weather predictions like at weather.com have been more erratic and wrong more often lately -progree))
I think with climate change, some of the forecasting tools that are used for the outlook models perhaps should be rigorously revisited a little bit, climatologist and meteorologist Mark Seeley said. ((or a new administration -progree))
This latest month of February will mark the 14th warmest February in state history as far back as 1895. If looking at the Twin Cities numbers alone, it would be the 12th warmest.
That's all there is in text at the link. The rest is audio which I haven't listened to.
I was hoping they'd also mention how December and January turned out.
