Related: About this forumI just missed a court date.
For a speeding ticket.
Thought it was the 10th of September, it was the 1st.
What do I do? I live in Cocke Country, if that helps.
EDIT. And I was apparently supposed to appear in court in Parrotsville.

(1,860 posts)1. Most Likely, If you contact the court
they will reschedule it. There is a possibility that they ruled in your absence and you will just have to pay what fine the judge ordered for this case.

(113,131 posts)3. You'll need to reschedule with the clerk of court ASAP
They'll also be able to tell you if a bench warrant has been issued for non appearance. If one has, turn yourself in at the cop shop. It beats having them break down your door at 4 AM to serve the damned thing.
