excludes a lot of members of the Liberal party. They too were imploring Trudeau to step down. He's sunken so far in the polls, there is no turning back.

With the Liberals coming in 3rd, maybe even 4th place?

With his resignation, the Liberals will have at least a fighting chance, if they choose wisely in selecting their new leader, and if the election can be put off until fall.
