Spot cleaning carpet tip

Someone might have come up with this before me. I used Resolve to clean some heavy traffic spots on my carpet. It says on the bottle to spray, then scrub with a warm wet cloth. I didn't want to either get on the floor or bend for too long. I have a sponge mop, so I got warm water and went over the spots with the mop. Worked fine as far as I can tell.
