Household Hints & Help
Related: About this forumBefore and after pictures using Barkeepers Friend.
I bought a whole set of Franciscan Desert Rose dishes for $10 because they were marked and crazed. I tried bleach and baking soda with vinegar with no luck. I thought Barkeepers Friend would just be like Comet. What a surprise! (I don't sell it and I'm not affiliated with it in any way.) It's not perfect, but now they're usable.

(5,107 posts)Good for tough stains like car grease on pants and also has weird use to patch small fuel leaks in car gas tanks and such. Bonds and seals as a putty in the presence of gasoline.
