(19,264 posts)That and the 2 Independents that caucuses with the Democrats, gives the filibuster less importance. Ole Mitch is will try to stall things, but he will have way less power because Mitt Romney will likely vote more with the Democrats on things that bear a heavy moral tone.
Things in the Senate will get done finally. But there is still a lot of work to do to make this happen.
