(8,617 posts)The only Democratic held US Senate seat up for re-election in 2022 that is likely going to be open is VT(Leahy-D). VT will remain in the Democratic column if Leahy were to retire.
On the Republican side, The open seats that Democrats are likely to win are-
PA(OPEN-Toomey-R)Fetterman-D
Democrats will win WI(Johnson-R or OPEN)Barnes-D or Godlewski-D
NC(OPEN-Burr-R) if it is a Democratic wave.
