MPD: Man pours relative's ashes in mother's toilet
https://wreg.com/news/mpd-man-puts-relatives-ashes-in-mothers-toilet/amp/MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was arrested this weekend after Memphis Police say he broke into his mother’s home and poured a relative’s ashes in the toilet.
On Saturday, officers responded to a residence in the 5200 block of Shelborne where a female victim reported that her son Adell Totten had allegedly broken a window and entered her home.
The victim claimed Totten then took down the indoor security cameras and allegedly took the cremated ashes of a deceased relative and put them in the toilet.
Officers who responded found Totten on the scene and arrested him. He was found to have taken a $10 cap from the apartment as well.
