1. Input energy ?

The video glossed over the input energy source "renewable energy" I think it said. So this is an elegant storage battery. Good idea. What home would have enough solar panels to provide as much or more input than needed ? Just askin'. I only got C's and B's in thermo so I'm missing something here.

2. In the middle, they mentioned that it would use power when demand is low.

It looks like it works like a battery backup. Only without the heavy batteries. I would think it's hydrogen cell technology. We just have to make sure that its water level is sufficient. But if running standalone, it would need a supply of hydrogen.

Unfortunately, the advertisements seem overly hellbent on making sure they obscure the electricity input.

A lot of hydrogen stuff is popping up in Australia. It's almost like they know they are sitting on top of a solar/wind goldmine and could eventually become a major exporter of hydrogen generated from renewable energy. It's great to see innovation.
