UK Deficit Soars in December - Joe Blogs

In this video I talk about the UK Budget Deficit. The figures for December show that UK Government Spending was significantly higher than its revenue in December. This resulted in an increase in UK Public Sector Debt of £17.8 Billion in the month which was the third highest increase in December in UK history. The increase in debt was compounded by an increase in debt costs due to the recent rapid rise in bond yields. All of this represents seriously bad news for the UK and its Economy.
