So glad the Holidays are behind me!

Stressful time of year. Last night I was happy to retire early to my bedroom with a mug of ice cream and a good movie on deck. Managed to stay sober the entire time. Another holiday season under my belt!

2. It was excellent! I do wish the three holidays were spread out more. Lol.

Thanksgiving is the best. A full belly with everyone happy. Christmas is fun with gifts especially the kids. New years was awesome. Had a party at my home followed by a new years breakfast at another home (same 16 people) capped off with a pork and sauerkraut meal for dinner at another home (same people). Probably the most fun of the 3 holidays. Today relaxing.

3. From my point of view

I’m glad to get them all over with in two months’ time. Then the rest of the year I can relax and don’t have to worry about preparing big meals, keeping the house clean, and buying presents. Not that I go to a lot of fuss, but it’s still more work and planning than I like to do, since I’m basically a lazy person.

4. My dog got the worst of it

She hates fireworks, and since we live between two tribal reservations, there is an ample supply of loud fireworks. I kept her "safe".
