God grant me the serenity for the things that cannot be changed, the courage to change the things I can, and
the wisdom to know the difference.
...Also, "God grant me the patience for the changes that take time, and tolerance for those with different struggles"

Love the Serenity prayer.
When I was in Catholic school back in the late 60's, we went to visit a family friend. I was about 13, and saw a framed copy of the serenity prayer on a shelf.
I remember thinking, "how different this is from the prayers we say every day at school. This prayer seems to give a practical tool that can be used right here in this world"...
Little did I know ...
