Any recs on CPAP sterilizer?

Ozone? UVC?

I'm concerned mostly about the heated hose, but will use whichever unit I buy for the mask & water resoirvoir as well.

I notice they all say you can clean hose in most units, then they go on to say just place mask & water reseroir inside...

Just as with our msm "news," it concerns me greatly that none of them list the interior dimensions. Paying strict attention to whst is not being said, as always!

Tyia!

I don’t use a humidifier tank any more, using in-hose humidifying discs instead. I wash my mask and hose in warm water with just a little dish soap (Trader Joe’s lavender leaves a pleasant, non soapy scent).

That’s it. It’s worked for 20+ years.

I think it’s far more important to make sure you only use distilled water (not purified, filtered or demineralized) in your humidifier tank.

warm water in the clean wash basin. I submerge the tubing into the soap and water filled basin and run the water back and forth several times, allowing the water to come to the edge of the tubing. Then I run warm water into one end of the tubing and allow the water to flush out all the soapy water and any dirt that might be there. After that, I hang it to dry. To clean the tank, I use watered down vinegar and wipe it with gauze pads. (cotton leave little fibers) Don't forget to change the air filter every other week.
